Returns & Exchanges

We offer a 100% guarantee as Yum Yum Kids is confident that our products are high quality.  If you are not happy with your purchase - simply return the product (unused and in the original packaging) within 30 days of the date of purchase and we will happily offer an exchange or refund.

Yum Yum Kids will meet our obligations under the Consumer Guarantees Act if our products have been wrongly described, develop a fault or are not fit for the purpose described. In this case we will happily provide an exchange, credit or refund.   Please note; shipping is not refundable on returns and the item must be in saleable condition (i.e not used).

Security and Purchasing online

The Yum Yum Kids website is secure and is located within a secure server environment which utilises SSL (Secure Sockets Layer) - Thawte Sign Certificates.

Yum Yum Kids uses secure servers to protect your personal information, including your name, address, and credit card information.  

Shopping online is actually considered fairly low-risk. According to CNN, "The prevalent opinion. . . is that on-line credit card use is actually no riskier for consumers than traditional "low-tech" transactions. " You should feel as safe as you would using a credit card in a store or restaurant, if not more so.

Important: Your Order Confirmation Email
Please check your order confirmation email thoroughly. If there are any errors or changes please email us immediately. Please note that changes can not be made once your order is shipped.

If you do not receive an Order Confirmation Email you may have entered an incorrect email address. Please email us and we will correct the email address and send you a copy of your order and your order number. Please do not assume your order has been received.

Order Cancellations
All order cancellations must be emailed or sent in writing. All orders are considered current unless canceled in writing (via email) by either the customer or Yum Yum Kids.

Product Availability
Yum Yum Kids product availability is updated daily however sometimes items do sell out between this time and when you have placed an order. If items are sold out or if there are any delays we will notify you as soon as possible.

Pricing
All prices are listed in New Zealand Dollars and include GST. Yum Yum Kids reserves the right to change prices without notice. Orders made from outside New Zealand, that are to be shipped outside New Zealand, will have the GST amount deducted. This adjustment will appear on the invoice sent with the order.

Payment
Credit Card: We only accept Visa & Mastercard credit cards. Regrettably Yum Yum Kids does NOT ACCEPT AMEX.
Other: we also accept Direct Deposit, Bank Cheque and Personal Cheque however when paying by these methods goods can only be dispatched when deposits/cheques/money orders have cleared to Yum Yum Kids. Please select your payment method at the checkout. Our payment details are emailed to you with your order confirmation.

Payment by Direct Debit to Yum Yum Kids Limited.  When making payment by direct debit, please note your full name and use your order number as a reference. It would be appreciated if you could contact us by e-mail or phone confirming payment has been made. This will expedite shipping of your order when payment is finally received by Yum Yum Kids.

Currency
We trade in New Zealand Dollars only.

Delivery and Shipping Information

(New Zealand)

Efficient delivery is an important part of Yum Yum Kids service committment - our promise to you is that your order will arrive as promised, when promised and will surpass your expectations.  Yum Yum Kids uses Courier Post for all our New Zealand deliveries. 

Charges

We do not charge shipping in NZ for purchases less than $5.  From $5 up, our minimum standard NZ nationwide delivery charge is from $4. The shipping charge is based on the number of items and their weight.  Bigger items such as tables and chair sets that do not fit in a courier bag or heavy items are subject to additional shipping charges at the price we are charged by Courier Post.

You can calculate your shipping charge by putting the required items into your shopping cart, and choose your delivery area. This will calculate your freight based on the number of items and their weight.

  • Auckland - Wellsford to Pukekohe
  • Waikato - Whangarei, Coromandel and Waikato (to Cambridge)
  • Rest of North Island - North of Whangarei and South of Cambridge
  • South Island

Estimated Delivery times

We will always dispatch your order on the next working day, in fact all attempt is made to dispatch orders on the day they are received (for those orders received prior to 2pm).  If you do have an order with some urgency, please call us and we will accommodate you as best as we can. We will notify you as soon as possible if there are any problems or delays in delivery. We will answer/return all e-mails as soon as possible and within 24 hours (Monday - Friday). We encourage your feedback and will respond promptly. 

Please note rural delivery takes 2-3 days from shipping, dependant on your local Rural Delivery driver.

Please note we use a non-signature required service, which means the package will be left in a safe place if you are not home to receive your item. Please make a note with your order if you have specific delivery instructions or you wish to sign for your package.

If your order is out of stock, we will notify you as quickly as possible and advise the expected delivery time. At this time you can choose to wait for your product, choose an alternative product or cancel your order.

The majority of orders are received within 3 days. Please let us know if you require your purchase urgently and we will do all we can to try to ensure this happens.

Yum Yum Kids delivers worldwide and we look forward to being of service to you, where-ever in the world you are.

International shipping:

Yum Yum Kids will ensure we find the most cost effective way of getting your order to you as we appreciate that international shipping can be expensive. All international orders are shipped using New Zealand Post.
 
The shopping cart function does calculate the standard shipping charge based on the number of items and their weight.  This is done once the items are put into the shopping cart and the country of origin is shown.   There can however be slight variations to this charge - Yum Yum Kids will refund the difference if your shipping is significantly cheaper than calculated on our website.
 
 

Goods and Sales Tax

International orders receive a 12.5% discount from our listed prices, as you are not charged the NZ Goods and Services Tax (GST) that is shown included in our prices. Once you choose your shipping country, the correct prices will displayed.  Please note that you may be charged your local sales tax when your package arrives in your country.
 
If you have any questions or concerns, please contact us prior to placing your order.
 
Please let us know if you require your purchase urgently and we will do all we can to try to ensure this happens.  Please note, there are options to speed up delivery times but these will be more expensive that the standard shipping charged at our shopping cart.
