Yum Yum Kids Mini Pizza's
Kid's love pizza and it doesn't need to be a high fat, high salt one purchased from a pizza take-out. Try our mini pizza recipe as a great lunch box addition...it is a great alternative to a sandwich!
1 x Mini pitta bread (use a gluten free option if required)
Sliced Ham (you could use bacon, tuna, baked beans even)
Split the pita bread in two
Spread with pizza sauce
Sprinkle the ham (or whatever you choose) on top
Top with sliced tomato
Finish with grated cheese
Bake in a 200 degree celcius oven for 10 minutes or until golden and crisp
Once cool place in an air tight container in the fridge for school the next day
Be creative and try this recipe with other ingredients like cooked broccoli, mushrooms, capsicum...the options are endless.
