Sticky Chicken

This has been passed down in generations within my family and remains a true family favourite for all.  You can use any sort of chicken you have - thighs, breast or chicken drumsticks.  It is super easy but super tasty!!



1 cup chutney (I like ones that are fruit based - Wild Appetite have a nice selection)
1/2 cup lite Mayonnaise
2 T liquid honey
2 teaspoons curry powder
Salt and pepper to taste


  1. Pre-heat the oven to 180 degrees C
  2. Combine all ingredients together in a bowl and stir to mix
  3. Spread over chosen chicken pieces
  4. Cover with tinfoil
  5. Cook for half the time with tinfoil on and half with it off to brown the pieces nicely.  Cooking time will of course depend on the type of cut you have chosen.  I allow about 30 minutes for a breast, 45 for thighs and 1 hour for pieces with bones in.
